In-Home Skilled Care

Do you or your family member have specific medical needs? We can help. Our specially trained private duty nurses provide the level of care needed to let them stay safely at home rather than in a nursing facility or hospital. Plus, the reduced stress and the improved feeling of well-being that comes with being treated at home can contribute to their healing process.

Our private duty nurses provide the one-on-one medical care to your loved one, often in tandem with our caregivers who are providing personal-care services. Our skilled licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) and registered nurses (RNs) can perform the following medical tasks:

24-HOUR ON-CALL RN | Take comfort in knowing a Registered Nurse or Director of Nursing is overseeing every aspect of your loved one’s care, and available to you and our private duty nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

IV THERAPY | Does your loved require intravenous (IV) fluids and medications (broadly known as infusion therapies)? Save them the stress of going to the hospital and let our skilled nurses come to their home instead. They’ll make sure the IV is working, there are no signs of infection and no adverse reactions.

SPECIMEN COLLECTION + LAB DRAWS | With today’s on-going pandemic, it’s prudent to minimize in-hospital tasks like specimen collection and lab draws. Our licensed nurses will perform these duties in-home with the utmost sensitivity to you or your loved one’s well-being.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT | It’s a fact: seniors who take their medications on time experience less confusion and have better outcomes. We’ll work with you to put a simple management system in place, with medication reminders and a tracking system and monitor it on an on-going basis.

WOUND CARE | Seniors are at a greater risk for experiencing complications with non-healing wounds because of their increased likelihood of diabetes, poor circulation, inactivity, poor nutrition, or a weak immune system. We have licensed nurses specifically trained in wound care who can help make sure the wound is properly cared for, and that your loved one heals as quick and painlessly as possible. All under the direct supervision of a doctor.

ALTERNATIVE MEDICATION CONSULTING | Under the direct supervision of a doctor, we can make recommendations for alternative herbal and/or natural treatments for arthritis, anxiety and pain that offer minimal side effects.
